Apple Tree Lodge is in the perfect location on Bockenfield Country Park and sits in a premium plot  with its own private garden, just across the road from a lovely little stream and you can often spot wildlife around.

On-Site and the local area 

There is a choice of 2 on-site bars which provides a perfect place to unwind and get a drink or a bite to eat. There is also often entertainment in the bars and they are dog friendly too. You also have childrens play area and games room. Should you wish to travel further, you are spoilt for choice with friendly pubs and restaurants in the local area.

Northumberland is a picturesque county with miles of golden beaches to explore, including many castles and historic sites. There are also nearby market towns and fantastic local attractions that offer plenty in terms of days out, with plenty of food options as well!

Access to the A1 is quick and easy making travel easy, no matter where you plan to visit. Northumberland will delight both adults and children with an abundance of visitor attractions suitable for all ages. You will never be short of somewhere to visit, and will always have the relaxing hot tub to come back to after a day of exploring this amazing county, it really is one of the top places to visit in the uk.

I found the site easy to find, just off the A1. The caravan was within half an hour of the things we wanted to do. The caravan was very well equipped. We didn't want for nothing. We liked how we had privacy whilst using the hot tub. The gentleman that maintained the hot tub was very friendly. It was good that we could open the door for the dogs, and they were safe. We would definitely recommend to others, hence the 5 star rating. Thank you 👍
